MY PRECIOUS DAUGHTER AMBER

Dear daughter, Amber Rae if I could give you one thing in life, I would give you the ability to see yourself through my eyes. Only then would you realize how special you are to me. 

 I love you for the little girl you once were, the amazing woman you are today, and for the precious daughter you will always be.

Sometimes when I need a miracle, I look into my daughter’s eyes and realize I have already created one. 

Her smile makes me smile. Her laugh is infectious. Her heart is pure and true. Above all, I love that she is my daughter.

To my beautiful daughter, when I tell you I love you, I don’t say it out of habit or to make conversation. I say it to remind you that you are the best thing that ever happened to me.

She’s the air that I breathe, she’s the beat in my heart. She’s the tear in my eyes when we’re apart. She’s the pride I feel with all she achieves, I’m the one who gives hope in what she believes. She’s a part of my body but now she’s all grown, as she waves me goodbye to find a life of her own. My beautiful girl, you’ve grown up so fine. You make me so proud to know that you’re mine.

           Every time I hear this song, it brings tears to my eyes, and it takes me back in time when we first met, Saturday, June 20th,1987, a day before Father's Day.  What a gift you were to your dad.  I couldn't' believe you were in my arms after 9 mths. of carrying you.    You were the most precious baby I had ever seen with cute bow tie lips and rosy cheeks and wow what a full set of black hair you had!  I remember when the nurses left us alone, to room was still and we just quietly stared at each other and you held my finger tightly, you smelled so lovely.  I was memorized with you and knew at that moment; we would be forever one.    I was your Mom ... i lOVE YOU.

 I think of how blessed I am to have a loving, kind, smart daughter as you. You have dedicated your life to help others when they need you. You are a caring, supportive sister to your brothers, and most of all, Amber, you have become a phenomenal mommy and a truly exceptional woman all around.  I am proud of you for being inspiring to all that come into your path of kindness.  God will forever bless your heart and new family.  Thank you sweet Amber, for all that you do for your dad and for me we are truly grateful to have you as our one and only daughter.
