Summertime Fun

        Hi, my name is Christy, 

    I am writing here to welcome you to my blog and to fill you in as to why I decided to create it.  I feel a bit crazy putting this together, but I would like to take you along with some great music and hopefully good stories about my life.  

    Also, the main reason for setting up this blog, is for my children to read the memories of my life and someday they can pass them on to my grandchildren.  I would like to give them a little something of the 50's era my parents grew up in.  Which was a great one, Unfortunately, my kids didn't get a chance to meet my dad (Grandfather) and had a few years with my mother (Grandmother)and writing this journal for them and to you will be awesome. 

    Note:  I 'm not a writer and my thoughts are often scattered but I feel that I can place them well enough for you to have a good read.   This mind of mine is full of recollections of happy, sad, fun, exciting times, so I hope you enjoy reading.
